The 10,320 KRW Benchmark
For the first time in history, South Korea's minimum wage has surpassed the 10,000 KRW mark. Starting January 1st, 2026, the hourly rate is set at 10,320 KRW.
Monthly Minimum
Based on a 209-hour work month (including WHP), the monthly minimum salary is 2,156,880 KRW.
Weekly Holiday Pay (WHP)
If you work more than 15 hours per week, you are entitled to one paid day off per week. This is a mandatory requirement under Korean Labor Law.
